Fascia Board Replacement North East
Fascias support the guttering at the roof edge. Timber boards can deteriorate through weather exposure and allow water to affect surrounding roof timbers. We can assess the condition and discuss repairs or replacement.
We offer replacement of deteriorated timber roofline boards with UPVC where suitable. Colour and finish options depend on the product and availability.
If removing existing boards reveals damaged timber, the repair options and changes to the proposed work can be discussed. Ask about the terms and scope of our 10-year workmanship guarantee.
Soffit Board Installation North East
Soffits are the boards that tuck under your roof overhang, between the wall and the fascia. They do two things: keep the weather off the rafter ends, and let the loft breathe. If they're broken or missing, you get damp in the loft and birds nesting in your roof.
Damaged soffits can leave gaps around the roof edge. Replacement panels and suitable ventilation can help protect the roof space while maintaining airflow. Signs of nesting wildlife should be assessed before work proceeds.
Plain, woodgrain or ventilated — we'll match them to your new fascias so it all looks like one job, not bits stuck on at different times.
Guttering Installation & Repair North East
Gutters have one job — get the rain off your roof and away from your walls. When they're blocked, sagging or leaking, the water runs straight down the brickwork. You'll see it before you feel it: green algae streaks down the wall, then damp patches appearing inside.
We offer UPVC guttering in different profiles where available. Existing gutters, downpipes and drainage routes can be assessed before replacement, including where cast iron guttering has deteriorated.
For a leaking joint, sagging section or damaged downpipe, contact 0191 468 3081 to discuss repairs, current availability and a free quote.
How to Tell Yours Need Doing
Have a look up next time you're outside. If you spot any of these, give us a ring before it gets worse:
Soft, Flaky Wood
If you can poke a screwdriver into the fascia or it's been painted six times to keep it together — it's gone.
Gutters Spilling Over
Water pouring over the front in normal rain means they're either blocked, sagging, or running the wrong way.
Green Streaks Down the Wall
That algae stain under the gutter is rainwater finding the wrong route. Won't fix itself.
Birds in the Loft
If you can hear scratching above the bedroom ceiling, something's getting in through the soffits.
